Sesame Street Pinball Song

If you are or have ever been a fan of Sesame Street, then you probably know that I'm talking about the tune sung while the pinball is being shot around the game board. "1-2-3-4-5...6-7-8-9-10...11-12!" (If you don't get it, go watch an episode of Sesame Street and you'll figure it out.)
My level went up to a 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been singing that song in my head since the ultrasound yesterday.

We had EVERYTHING done yesterday: ultrasound (baby is still breech and loving it) , another stress test to monitor baby's heartbeat (still a champ!), AND I even got checked to see if I had dilated any. yippee.<--I meant that sarcastically. Talk about making a first impression with someone. My doctor is on vacation this week, so I had to see someone else and I was NOT expecting "the works", BUT, at least I can say I am thankful for the good report yesterday. God is definitely working and taking care of baby and me.

P.S. Another thing we found out from the ultrasound is that she has a lot of hair allready. How crazy is that?! Of course, even though he wears his short, Geron and I both have tons of hair, so we shouldn't be surprised. I can't wait to see what this little girl is going to look like--hair color, eye color, skin tone, goatee, JUST KIDDING! I know she'll be beautiful, but will she be beautiful like me or like Geron?

She may look more like Geron. I saw a show some time ago talking about biology, reproduction, and evolution. Seems that human babies are typically born resembling the father more--from a care standpoint, it helps the father identify with the child, put aside any doubts of paternity, and commit to providing food for his new family.

Maybe not as important today, but pretty interesting for primitive times. The same thing happens for primates so the alpha male can confirm his progeny.

Lydia, Granny once said something on the line that about the only way the OB's nurse could identify patients is by them pulling their skirts up.

Yes, Tooz, that's exactly what's I'm saying. You can name her Clyde, and teach her to make left hand turns while driving big trucks.

The only song I know is the one that goes "1 2 3, 456, 789, 10 11 12 little monkeys on the bed!" And I used to watch Sesame Street all the time! Still do with stinkbumps sometimes.

Jamie looked just like me when he was born. Guess God knew he didn't need to worry about the whole father-imprinting thing! LOL!

Jamie was born with a ton of black hair. But be forewarned! Her hair will probably all fall out and her "real" hair will grow back in as she gets older. Jamie was also covered in hair almost from head to toe, and this all fell out, too. Seems they have a lot of body hair in the womb to help protect them. Then as they get older it all falls off (except Jamie is still fuzzy!)

Yeah, CJ's back is still fuzzy, but the rest of the fuzz went away. He had a bunch of black hair that gradually fell out as his lighter hair grew in--for a while, he had "Grandpa Head"--just a band of hairaround his head at ear level, with a bald crown and tuft near his forehead.

molly looked just like nathan when she was born, but now she looks like pictures of me when i was 5! if you put her with nathan or with me, she looks like either one of us...but then again a lot of people think nathan and i look alike!
