It amazes me that they can tell from something that looks like that! This all brings to mind the "Everybody Loves Raymond" episode where his wife was telling him about her ultrasound before their second child was born. He was marching around gloating because it was a boy, and then he REALLY started strutting when his wife told him there were two of them--he thought two p-nises at first, then realized she meant two boys.
One word of advice with little boys: When changing diapers, ALWAYS cover their little privates with a cloth diaper while switching from one clean diaper to another. When the cooler air hits their little privates, they pee - and it usually shoots either in your face or all the way across the room! A cloth diaper covering them will absorb the pee and keep it out of your face and the carpet!
